Sexually progressive cultures gave us literature, philosophy, civilization and the rest, while sexually restrictive cultures gave us the Dark Ages and the Holocaust.

Saying that torture is a necessity is abhorrent to me and all civilized people. Unfortunately because the world is populated by millions upon millions of uncivilized people then torture does indeed become a necessity. I don ‘t understand all the news flying around about the CIA use of torture. This has been going on for centuries and will continue into the future. Torture, as much as we may not like it, is oft-times the only solution to a life threatening situation. Many times it will end up that innocents will be caught in the web but unfortunately when the lives of countless people are at stake then some casualties will be expected.

This is the time of the year that I need to listen to CHRISTMAS music to put me in the mood for the season. It is important for me to listen to the music, read nice Christmas stories, watch Christmas movies and to go to Church. Without these things I get into the Christmas slump, that makes me hate the season. I need these things otherwise all I see is the hustle and bustle created by commerce where it over powers everything that is Christmas. People drive like maniacs, they have no patience, they are rude and greedy and pushy, everything for which the season does not stand. Listen to the music and maybe it will keep you calm in this hectic time. MERRY CHRISTMAS and remember that Christ is the reason for the season and not commercial crap.

Norway s new Conservative Prime Minister, and her right-wing, anti-immigration coalition, have resorted to common sense to fight the country s growing crime problem.

Conservative Party leader Erna Solberg – nicknamed “Iron Erna” – as Norway’s new prime minister is the leader of a centre-right coalition government that includes an an anti-immigration party.

A record number of foreign citizens are being deported from Norway, after the country’s police stepped up the use of deportation as a way of fighting crime. Some 5,198 foreign citizens were expelled from the country in 2013, an increase of 31 percent since 2012, when 3,958 people were deported.

Just a special shout out to a company CHRISTMAS DECOR and the owner Don McQueen. Each year they honour a Canadian family with a member serving overseas. They decorate the family home bring some Christmas cheer to a family who is missing a member at this special time of year. This year he honoured the third family in Hamilton and the sixth overall. This year they decorated the home of Lt. Jacek Wojcik of the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry who was deployed to Europe in late September. Thanks for giving me something nice to write about Don. I am a sucker for this type of story at Christmas.

As an American, I’ve found myself dizzied by the hypocrisy of the midterm election: a majority of people reported that the economy was their number one concern, and yet they overwhelmingly voted against the president who has been bringing the economy back on track and instead gave the reins back to a political party which was almost entirely responsible for derailing it in the first place. So if I was confused, imagine how it must look to the outside observer. Americans must look nuts.

Bill Maher is a friend of mine. He stood up for me when I was attacked after my Oscar speech (given on the fourth night of the Iraq War, a war Bill publicly opposed while 70% of the country, including the majority of Democrats in the U.S. Senate, supported it), and I stood up for him when ABC fired him and cancelled his show when he attempted to stop the hysteria and fear-mongering after 9-11 — resulting in the Bush White House publicly ordering him to watch what he says — or else. When Bill got his HBO show, he went on a 7-year tear against the Bush administration and became one of our most unapologetic and unrelenting voices against the insanity being shoved down our throats.

I, for one, am glad there’s at least one top comedian who isn’t afraid to say the word “capitalism” or give credence to the good of socialism. Keep reading, there’s more info!

Creator of book ‘My Chacha Is Gay’ tells American actor he shut down the opportunity for a productive dialogue on radical Islam.

Last fortnight, Gone Girl star Ben Affleck caused a storm when he got into a heated debate with US TV host Bill Maher and American author Sam Harris over their views on Islamic radicalism. Appearing on the show Real Time with Bill Maher, Affleck attacked Harris for suggesting that Islam was a “mother lode of bad ideas” and skewed Maher for maintaining that liberals fail to condemn the lack of personal freedoms, especially for women and LGBT minorities, in the Muslim world.

The actor claimed that Maher and Harris were being racist and were making generalisations about Muslims. “How about more than a billion people who are not fanatical, who don’t punish women, who just want to go to school, have some sandwiches,” he asked. “It’s stereotyping.” Keep reading, there’s more info!

Much like test-driving a hot rod at a dealership, women are now able to test out a hot rack with the advent of Insta Breast, a new surgical procedure that allows women to try out temporary breast implants.

Plastic Surgeon Dr. Norman Rowe told ABC News:

The saline gets absorbed by the body. It’s for the women who don’t have time for implants.

It’s a procedure that can take as little as 20 minutes and cost between $2,500 and $3,500. Rowe provides a saline injection into women’s breasts that allows them to have breast implants for 24 hours.

The motive for the invention is for women to have a way to accurately test out breast implants. Rowe says,

You can use 3D imaging and put implants in bras, but it’s another thing to see what the weight will actually feel like and what it will be like to live with the new breasts.

The surgeon says he’s going one step farther, too. Rowe is in the process of creating temporary implants that will last for two weeks, because maybe a single day with implants is just not long enough.

He calls them “vacations breasts,” and says they could be ready for use in about two years.

Rowe says “vacation breasts” would be perfect for special occasions like weddings and getaways, and would also give women a better idea of what it’s like to live with implants.

He said,

Twenty-four hours is great. But it’s still just 24 hours.
