Every year at his time we have what somehow the corporate world likes to call BLACK FRIDAY. This is the weekend when supposedly you savage shoppers in the U.S. help stores get into the black. Unfortunately, BLACK FRIDAY now has a different meaning. It is a weekend for corporate sponsored and government backed destruction of life. Somehow it seems okay to allow savage out of control shoppers to cause damage to property, damage to people and even deaths. All this in the name of filling the coffers of the corporate world at the time of the year when we are supposedly honouring a birth of a man of peace. What hypocrisy. No wonder more and more young people today are turning away from religion.
Now look, if the U.S government is willing to allow state sponsored deaths, then fine, but now it’s coming to Canadian soil. Stores want to keep you shopping here so they are now instituting BLACK FRIDAYS here. Do we really want to allow this on Canadian soil? No amount of lower prices are worth the cost of on life. We have to snip this in the bud. We need to let municipal, provincial and federal government officials that they should nip this practice in the bud on Canadian soil before people get hurt here. Canadians are much more civilized but still it can happen if we get crowds like in the U.S.
The U.S government should either ban BLACK FRIDAYS or at least make the corporate CEO’s responsible for any deaths or harm that happens to their customers. They should be charged as accessories to murder when a death occurs. Look, simply put the business world hands a loaded gun to their customers and they rampage and cause deaths and such they are facilitating the killing of their customers. To say the deaths, the harm and property damage is accidentally is pure bullshit. They know from past experience this can happen every year so to let it continue, they condone they deaths so they can take your money on crap most of us don’t even need.
Time to think people. All this ridiculous shopping sprees do is take money from people for unnecessary purchases. Do you need countless number of shoes. Do you need really need bigger an bigger televisions to make you happy? How many chia pets to you need to give out? We buy more and more things that just fill up landfills. Anyway all this is beside the point. Shopping should never be an excuse to trample people or to stabsomebody over an item. This insanity has to stop. We have to stop corporate greed to constantly pump out more and more crap for us to buy.
It wouldn’t be so bad if corporations really cared for you, but come on you know they don’t give a damn about you. Corporations only want their business to grow and Christmas time is the best time to do it. The question here is how far can this growth go, when does it collapse and most important is their growth worth, tour life or some loved ones life? Enough, it is time to stop this madness.
This has become so normal that there is now even a website that tracks the carnage on BLACK FRIDAYS. Go to http://www.blackfridaydeathcount.com to see the damage that is caused.
