I have always been an Obama supporter even though I am not a US citizen but I was really disappointed when he compared medieval Christian wars to modern-day Islamic terrorism at the National Prayer Breakfast a while back. He is an intelligent man so I doubt he is unaware of history concerning Islam. I am sure he is trying to be politically correct but this helps no one; it only makes things worse.He spouted that terrorist groups like ISIS “professed to stand up for Islam, but, in fact, are betraying it,” chastising the opposition from getting on “our high horse” when “people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ” during the Crusades and Spanish Inquisition.
Sure there are good Muslims just like there are bad Christians but the problem is not the individual, the problem is the ideology and faith. One promotes peace and love and the other says it promotes peace but has always done the opposite because peace seems to be objective depending on the believers. Christian peace is for everyone but Islamic peace is for Muslims only and for it’s converts otherwise you are labelled a victim by the Koran. It’s that simple. If this wasn’t ISIS we were talking about one could find this rather ludicrous. Unfortunately this is not the case. Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, ISIS main leader, has commanded the female genital mutilation of two million Iraqi girls to “distance them from immorality,” Ibtimes reported.

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi said that this decision is a ‘gift’ for women in Iraq. This will force Iraqi women to stay pure from ‘American immorality’. Wow, most people just buy women chocolates or send flowers but not these guys. Their idea of a gift to women is just plain sick. The sad thing is that this will probably happen and no one will be able to stop it.

In February 2015 a Muslim woman involved in a custody dispute with her estranged husband refused to take an oath on the Bible in a Pennsylvania court, demanding instead to be allowed to use a copy of the Quran.

The unnamed judge presiding over the case of Musaitef v. Musaitef, however, refused to allow her to do so, citing state law.

Under Pennsylvania law, oaths must be sworn on the Bible or be non-religious in nature, but still considered binding. Keep reading, more fun below!

He was speaking about Shariah law patrols instituted in the heavily Muslim East London. The patrols seek to enforce Islamic law on all residents — whether or not they are Muslims.

“This has nothing to do with Islam,” say the imams. “These callous and fanatic murders have nothing to do with us,” say the mullahs. “Islam means peace,” say the worshippers. These disclaimers, and variations on them, have been repeated countless times by Muslim commentators since the Charlie Hebdo killings. They are designed to distance people from guilt by association with those who kill and maim in the name of Islam.

But what about the sentence recently handed down to the (mildly) liberal blogger Raif Badawi in the Islamic state of Saudi Arabia? Ten years in jail, a massive fine, 1,000 lashes over 20 weeks (currently suspended because the first 50 lashes have rendered him “medically unfit”)? Does this have “nothing to do with Islam”? Does the hashtag “Je suis un couteau” – referring to this week’s stabbing of 11 Israelis on a bus – have “nothing to do with Islam”? Not to mention the 10 Christians killed during Charlie protests in Niger last week, or the ongoing depredations of al-Qaeda, Isis, Boko Haram, the Taliban and the Laskar Jihad of Indonesia?

The psychotic followers of these organisations all think that they are Muslims, and their Islam is based on beliefs that millions who subscribe to Wahhabism, the Saudi version of the religion – and its kin, Salafism – accept as essential ingredients of their faith. For example, that sharia, or Islamic law, is divinely ordained and immutable; that apostates and blasphemers should be killed; that women should be shrouded and confined to four walls and that men are their guardians.

When reading this article, keep in mind it is written by a Muslim. the article is correct but it only addresses terrorist attacks in the West and ignores the rest of the world so I find his facts somewhat skewed to give the impression that the Western media is only trying to make us distrust Muslims. Really the press doesn’t have to go out of it’s way to do that….Muslims are doing a good job of that by themselves. We do acknowledge that not all terrorists are Muslims of course. It would be foolish to do so but to say that in this day and age that Muslims do not commit most of the the terrorists acts in the world is absurd.

Sure, we heard Fox News’s Brian Kilmeade say it, but to me, that was simply part of the Fox News plan to make their viewers dumber, as we saw again this past weekend when its terrorism “expert” Steve Emerson was caught fabricating the story that Birmingham, England, is closed to non-Muslims. But more alarmingly, even some reasonable people have uttered this statement.

The website for the Islamic tribunal states: “It is with this issue that Muslims here in America are obligated to find a way to solve conflicts and disputes according to the principles of Islamic Law and its legal heritage of fairness and justice in a manner that is reasonable and cost effective.”

Breitbart Texas interviewed one of the tribunal’s “judges,” Dr. Taher El-badawi. El-badawi said that the tribunal is done in accordance with Sharia as a form of “non-binding dispute resolution.”
