When I think of beaches I think of soft, white sand and calm, serene water. But as we all know, Mother Nature is going to do what Mother Nature is going to do. Playa Puerto Nuevo is a beach in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, and massive waves won’t necessarily spoil your fun. Why? Because there’s a huge reef barrier that “protects” the beach, and watching it hold back the violent waters is a sight to behold. 0:34 is just breathtaking! Can you imagine what this would be like in person? It’s no wonder that this beach is on many a bucket lists! I’ll definitely be adding this to my list of vacation destinations!
I’m actually trying to comment on another article but could not find the ‘leave a reply’ tab. I’m wondering why this story appears on Upworthy and says its authored by someone named Megan Kelley http://www.upworthy.com/100-years-ago-people-were-eating-things-that-most-of-us-will-never-taste-so-what-happened?c=ufb7
