Back in 1905, a book called “The Apples of New York” was published by the New York State Department of Agriculture. It featured hundreds of apple varieties of all shapes, colors, and sizes, including Thomas Jefferson’s personal favorite, the Esopus Spitzenburg.

During a panel discussion on religious liberty last week at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., prominent atheist professor Phil Zuckerman declared what we’ve all known but that many still refuse to admit: it’s acceptable to criticize Christians but not Muslims because Christians won’t violently retaliate, reports CNS News.

Also on the panel was Kirsten Powers, a Democratic pundit and recent convert to Catholicism, who questioned why the left targets Christians who oppose same-sex marriage but take a hands-off stance toward Muslims for the same belief. She cited Steven Crowder’s hidden video recordings made earlier this year in which Muslim bakers in Michigan refused his request to bake a cake for a same-sex wedding:

“If these had been Christian bakeries, it would have been on the front page of the New York Times, so I’m wondering why we’re able to have this amicable, disagreement with Muslims for having this view. Why are we not able to do that with Christians? Keep reading, no surprises here!

Egypt Independent, had this article exposing Al-Azhar University of Egypt:

“Religious jurisprudence textbooks for Al-Azhar students address, among other things, the issue of eating dead human beings, quoting Mansour bin Yunus al-Bahuti, a scholar of the Hanbali school of jurisprudence who died 500 years ago, as saying that eating dead Jews, Christians and non-believers is halal (permissible by Islam) if it is a necessity, but non-Muslims are not to eat dead Muslims, even out of necessity.”

Another textbook quotes Imam al-Sherbini of the Shafi school of jurisprudence as saying that dead prophets of any religion should not be eaten. And when he was told that prophets do not die and that they lie alive praying in their graves according to the Hadith, he said that he meant if they were found dead before they were buried.

He also clarified that the meat of dead Jews, Christians and infidels should be eaten raw, not cooked or grilled.

Other Al-Azhar textbooks say that eating dead Jews, Christians and non-believers can be allowed not only out of necessity, but also as a punishment for heresy.

Would you die for your faith? We all like to think we would, but most of us — blessedly — are never put in that position.

Twelve brave Syrian missionaries were put in just that position, though. On Aug. 28, the 12 were captured by the Islamic State group and asked to renounce their faith in Christianity. They didn’t, and paid the price.

The Gospel Herald reported that the massacre took place on Aug. 28 just outside Aleppo, Syria. According to Christian Aid Mission, a group that helps indiginous Christians in areas where they’re likely to encounter persecution, four Christians were crucified and another eight were beheaded. A United States ally routinely imprisons and mistreats women who have been raped, according to a new BBC Arabic investigation set to air on Saturday. The United Arab Emirates (UAE), which imposes a stringent ban on extramarital sex, allegedly incarcerates women who have been sexually abused. The brutal problem affects mostly migrant workers who have little voice in society, but also reflects broader issues regarding the Gulf nation’s respect (or lack thereof) for human rights.

Though Western propagandists often decry Sharia law, the UAE implements parts of the religious legal code in addition to its civil and criminal framework. Application of Sharia law includes the U.S. ally’s ban on extramarital sex, referred to as “Zina,” as well as extramarital pregnancy.

Sabah Mahmoud, who spent 15 years in the UAE as an attorney, said, “The constitution states that Islam is the official religion of the nation and that Sharia is the source of laws in the country. There is no way anyone can oppose it.”

A new integration bill, which Dutch Interior
Minister Piet Hein Donner presented to parliament,
on June 16, 2015 reads:

“The government shares the social dissatisfaction
over the multicultural society model and plans
to shift priority to the values of the Dutch people.”

In the new integration system, the values of the
Dutch society, play a central role.

With this change, the government steps away
from the model of a multicultural society.

The letter continues: “A more obligatory
integration is justified because the government
also demands that from its own citizens.”

A Muslim woman from Egypt has written an open letter to the western world warning us of what Islam is really like… and what it does to a society. And yes, it goes beyond the unflattering nature of the burka.

This brave woman, Magda Borham (whose name was changed for purposes of safety), wrote a scathing exposé of life under Islam. Every American should read it:

Islam is not like any other religion. Islam is a supremacist racist political and social ideology wrapped in a thin peel of religious rituals. It seeks domination and supremacy over all other systems and religions. Islam is worse than Nazism and fascism systems combined without any doubt.

Worse than Nazism. Worse. Than. Nazism. And Fascism. COMBINED. That’s like, two really bad things together. Yet the left repeatedly calls this the religion of peace, and pro-life people terrorists. So much for priorities.

She continues,

Muslims are in your country, but they live not to integrate or to be part of your society or at least to be equal with others, but to dominate and to be the only privileged group. Muslims achieve this by turning you into a second class citizen in your own country.

They immigrate to your countries holding the same belief system that turned their lives into hell on earth. This same belief, same religion made their lives unsupportable in their original societies.
