We are saddened to report the passing of actor William Windom at age 88.
He co-starred with Angela Lansbury in more than 50 episodes of Murder, She Wrote, starred in the 1960s comedy The Farmer's Daughter, and the comedy My World And Welcome To It, which was based on the work of cartoonist James Thurber.
In film his work ranged from sparring with Gregory Peck's Atticus Finch as the prosecutor in To Kill a Mockingbird to the taunting disapproval of Kevin Bacon in She’s Having a Baby.
In genre circles he was best known for his appearance in the Star Trek episode “The Doomsday Machine” as Commodore Matt Decker, and in The Twilight Zone.
