Stargate Flicks Green-Lighted MGM Television confirmed Monday that it was making two Stargate SG-1 movies for DVD and television. The first, Stargate: The Ark of Truth, will wrap up the "Ori" storyline from the show's two last seasons on Sci Fi Channel. The second is called Stargate: Continuum. Cast members Ben Browder, Amanda Tapping, Christopher Judge, Claudia Black and Michael Shanks are confirmed to star in both movies, written and produced by Brad Wright and Robert Cooper. Cooper will direct Ark of Truth. No release dates were cited. The show will wrap up a 10-year run on Sci Fi when new episodes return in March. TV Guide reported the movies' being green-lighted last October.
